Nicole Klarides-Ditria | State Representative, 105th District

Nicole Klarides-Ditria is a lifelong Seymour resident, proud graduate of Seymour High School, small business owner, wife, mother, and dedicated public servant. Since 2016, she has had the honor of representing the people of Seymour, Beacon Falls, and Derby in Connecticut's 105th District.

With deep roots in the community, Nicole understands the challenges facing local families, seniors, educators, and small businesses. Her priorities include making Connecticut more affordable, lowering energy costs, providing meaningful tax relief, and ensuring local towns receive their fair share of state funding.

As a mother and licensed athletic trainer with 26 years of experience at Lauralton Hall High School, Nicole is especially passionate about education and student safety. She supports reducing unnecessary statewide mandates on schools, protecting local control of education, improving classroom safety for students and teachers, and fully exempting teachers' pensions from Connecticut's state income tax.

Nicole also advocates for accessible, quality healthcare, stronger support for law enforcement and first responders, safer roads, and responsible state spending. As Ranking Member of the Public Health Committee, she has focused on issues including prescription drug affordability, opioid prevention, and community health.

From her previous service as Seymour's Deputy First Selectman and a member of the Board of Finance to her work in Hartford, Nicole believes in listening to residents, working across party lines, and keeping the needs of her community at the center of her decisions.

For Nicole, public service is personal. Seymour, Beacon Falls, and Derby aren't just the towns she represents. They're the communities she calls home.
